Dylan Ratigan, Mad as Hell: His Epic ‘Network’ Moment
We’ve got a real problem…this is a mathematical fact. Tens of trillions of dollars are being extracted from the United States of America. Democrats aren’t fixing it, Republicans aren’t stopping it — an entire integrated system, banking, trade and taxation, created by both parties over a period of two decades is at work decimating our entire country right now. MSNBC’s Dylan Ratigan took it all on in this epic rant from his show today.
It’s sad but true that today’s politics are no longer about what party is doing what, but the fact that congress relies so much on political contributions is slowly killing the bond we as a people have with the politicians we “elect.”
Starting with giving corporations free speech so they can now legally buy congress, the American people on both sides of the political spectrum are losing their purpose. Stop fighting about who believes what, and start fighting to have the American people matter again. Right now, all your representatives care about is coddling the biggest campaign contributors and it’s destroying the country in the name of the almighty dollar.
We should never owe anything to corporations -especially the ones that don’t pay taxes and are hardly regulated - but now that a corporation can get out its checkbook your vote matters less and less. Unfortunately for Mr. Ratigan, President Obama will never call out congress because he’s bought too. It’s a sad and vicious circle that will be an absolute bear to get rid of.
